ABOUT ME

I love helping nonprofit organizations reach their full potential!

In my 15-year nonprofit career, I’ve held roles in program management, fundraising and development, and executive management, primarily in the community development and affordable housing sectors.

Some highlights from my career:
  • Managed two strategic planning processes, from RFP creation to strategy implementation
  • Secured more than $12 million in corporate and philanthropic support
  • Developed policies and tools to ensure effective Board performance
  • Developed and executed first open Board recruitment process in agency history
  • Secured a historical marker honoring founder of NeighborWorks America
  • Developed and implemented an agency-wide grants management protocol
I live with my husband, children, and dog in Temple, Texas and currently serve as Board President of Family Promise of Bell County, a homeless services organization. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and camping, weightlifting, reading, and coaching 8U soccer. For a full CV, find me on LinkedIn.
It is a rare professional who effectively delivers across the organizational spectrum, from strategy to organizational management and all points in between. The depth and breadth of Emily’s experience and knowledge truly made her a “go-to” team member for strategic planning and decision-making, systems management, creative problem-solving, and relationship management at NeighborWorks Western Pennsylvania, where she instilled a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
